Dog Friendly Beaches of Hampshire – in photos

We are blessed in this part of the country with loads of beautiful places to take our woofers! With stony and sandy beaches on offer, it really is doggy paradise…

The dog friendly beaches of Hampshire offer us stunning locations for our outdoor dog photography sessions, whether your pup loves a splash around or keeping dry in the sun!

    Eastney Beach

Throughout the winter, all of the Portsmouth seafront is dog-friendly. All year round we’re welcome with our dogs down the Eastney end! Everything from the Royal Marines Museum and east is fair game for our four-legged friends.

As a photoshoot location for dog photography in Hampshire, I love this beach. Its got loads of open space, both by the sea and up on the grass with beach huts aplenty!

    Meon Shore

Meon shore, Hill Head and Lee-on-Solent beaches all hold a special place in my heart. This was my neck of the woods growing up and I spent many an evening watching the sunset and going for chilly swims! Meon is dog friendly all year round, with plenty of free parking right on the beach. There’s also a beautiful cliff top walk over looking the beach as your head towards Solent Breezes Holiday park.

At low tide, there’s plenty of shallows to splash around in for those doggos who like to get their feet wet but perhaps don’t want to acutally swim!

    Hayling Beach

Hayling really does spoil us as a dog friendly beach. Its sandy for starters!

Sunset over the low tide really is a sight to behold!

There’s also plenty of space for zoomies, with loads of grassy areas to explore as well as shallows to splash around in!

Hayling beach really does make a wonderful setting for dog photography sessions, providing us with loads of great scenery and gorgeous evening light!

    Warsash Shore

If you’re lucky enough to have discovered the village of Warsash, you have no doubt breathed some of that shoreline air! With some top notch pubs offering a lookout over the harbour and miles of walking routes along the water, it really is a wonderful trip with the doggos.

There’s lots of winding paths through the neighbouring countryside and the wonderful Strawberry Fields to visit along the route.

The very first Top Dog Photography studio was in Warsash so we were frequeent visitors to this lovely dog-friendly shore and couldn’t recommend it more if you’re after a quiet, friendly stroll with the pooches.
