Spring is on the way and we’re back with outdoor dog photography sessions! Perfect for capturing those energetic doggos in all their glory…
So how does it work?
Book your session using our online scheduler.
Once you’ve chosen a time and date that suits you and your doggo, you’re all set!
If you know where you’d like your session to take place, great!
If not, that’s fine too.
We can chat about location options and show you samples of some of our favourite local spots to get your inspiration flowing!
Sessions usually last around an hour. We only ever do one outdoor session per day so that we can be flexible – sometimes weather gets in the way!
What about weather?
We can shoot in most weather conditions, barring significant rain and wind! We will always include you in any decisions to postpone due to weather. Some dogs love the outdoors in any weather so a bit of drizzle doesn’t always need to ruin our plans, but if your dog doesn’t appreciate having wet toe-beans, it may be best to reschedule!
What about bluebells/sunflowers/lavender photoshoots?
Some locations depend on the time of year, such as sunflowers and bluebell fields. Because these have such a short window, we can only book these sessions at particular times of year. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page or sign up to our email list to be updated with upcoming limited edition shoots.
Does my dog have to be off-lead?
Don’t worry! Your dog doesn’t have to be off-lead for an outdoor photoshoot.
Most dogs are on lead for at least some of their shoot! Its a simple fix in post-processing to make a line disappear. Its never worth risking your dog’s safety. Keeping your dog on lead will not prevent us having a great photoshoot!
What can I do with my dog's photos?
Do be sure to chat with us about any plans you have for displaying your photos. If you have a particular spot in your home or colour scheme in mind, we should consider this when choosing a location for your photoshoot.
A week or so after your session, you’ll be invited to the Top Dog studio in Fareham, Hampshire to view your finished gallery on the big screen. There, you can get an up-close look at each of our beautiful printed products.
